For a few years now, Tania Belabbas has been working as a quantum computing developer in the AlgoLab at the Quantum Institute of the Université de Sherbrooke. There, she collaborates with various partners on quantum computing research projects, such as projects in quantum finance with the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) and quantum optimization with the Sherbrooke Connectivity Imaging Laboratory (SCIL).

Her enthusiasm for teaching and community has also led her to pass on her knowledge of quantum computing as part of various training courses. For example, she has given several introductory workshops on the subject to a variety of audiences such as university students and people in the workplace.
