Daria is a Lecturer in the Physics Department at Simon Fraser University (SFU) and the inaugural Chair of the Division of Quantum Information of the Canadian Association of Physicists (CAP). She teaches and mentors students at various levels, designs curricula, and is currently building the new Quantum Education Research Group at SFU. Her background is in theoretical particle physics and adiabatic quantum computing, physics education research, and educational and faculty development. This year, she is busy co-leading the Canadian International Year of Quantum working group and co-steering QuantumBC into its next adventures.
